The NHS Pharmacy First Advanced Service has launched today.
The new service provides professional health care advice, treatments, and medicines for common illnesses without the need for an appointment.
This service is open to everyone, for the most common conditions which include:
– Sinusitis
– Sore Throat
– Acute Otitis Media
– Infected Insect Bite
– Impetigo
– Shingles.
If you would like to be referred by the practice for any of the above conditions, please contact reception.
Patients with symptoms relating to these conditions will be able to receive care from our expert pharmacists, who can offer advice and, when clinically necessary, prescription-only treatments.
